- Will ResNet assist me with my computer since I live off-campus?
Yes! Even though we can't take a drop-off from off-campus students we will do a walk-in to help with campus wireless, for example. We will also help you connect your iPhone to campus wireless; help reset your Ekey password; help with email, W: drive, and Blackboard; and our technology training opportunities and recycling events are also open to non-residential Eastern students.
- How long is my email account active after I graduate?
Your account will expire six months after graduation. During this time, we recommend you:
- 1. Establish a new email address with a commercial provider, such as Gmail.
- 2. Notify your contacts of your new email address.
- 3. Keep checking the account until you have all your contact using your new email address.
- 4. Foward to your new account any messages you want to keep from your Eastern account.
- What happens to my files on University servers?
Your account will expire soon after graduation so we recommend you:
- 1. Move all the files you want to save off your W: drive onto your personal computer or portable hard drive.
- 2. Once you have all the files you want, delete all the rest.
